Issam M. Fares and Fares Fares
Issam Fares is an international financier who started his career in the Middle East and built one of the largest civil engineering and construction groups in the world. Since his return to Lebanon, he has handed the management of Wedge, the investment vehicle of the Fares family, to his sons.

Issam Fares recently served as Deputy Prime Minister of Lebanon (the highest cabinet position which can be held by a Christian).

Mr. Fares formed the Fares Foundation which supports numerous humanitarian activities in Lebanon, especially in the areas of healthcare and higher education. He has received numerous awards from governments, universities and religious institutions. 

Fares Fares was educated in England and the US. He is a Trustee of Tufts University and serves on the Investment Committee of the Tufts University Endowment. He is also a board member of the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA) and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the boards of numerous private companies and charitable foundations.

Mr. Lee Pearce
Lee Pearce (M.D., J.D., F.C.L.M.) is qualified in both medicine and law. During the last 50 years he has been involved in many professional and business venture activities.

Dr. Pearce has served on the boards of several public companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange, AMEX and the NASDAQ, as well as many private companies. Presently, his primary activity is as a private investor overseeing both his unquoted investments and his portfolio.

Dr. Pearce is also actively involved in many philanthropic and other bodies. He is a Trustee of the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida: Advisory Director of The Metropolitan Opera, New York: Member of the Board of Fellows of Harvard Medical School: Pro-bono Consultant to Mayo Medical Foundation and to Mayo Medical Ventures, Rochester: Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine: Member of the American Bar Association: Member of the Florida Bar Association.

Barry K. Schwartz
Barry K Schwartz is the co-founder of Calvin Klein Industries. He and Mr Klein started the company in 1968 with a $10,000 investment and grew it into a $5 billion company which they sold in February 2003.

Today, Mr. Schwartz raises thoroughbreds on his 700 acre Westchester farm and races them in New York, Florida, California, and Kentucky. He is a member of the Jockey Club and former Chairman of the New York Racing Association.

In addition to his equine concerns Mr. Schwartz manages an office overseeing his family investments and finances.

Stanley Shopkorn
Stanley Shopkorn was, until recently responsible for all equity investments at Moore Capital Management, during which period the funds under management were grown from $2.2 billion to $10 billion.

Prior to this, he worked for a New York-based hedge fund and was Vice Chairman and Member of the Executive Committee at Salomon Brothers, responsible for building and managing the firm's worldwide equity business.

Currently Mr. Shopkorn runs a family office in New York managing his personal assets and investments.
